Yael stone, a native of New York City Australian resident, played Lorna the character of Morello Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael was awarded her NIDA degree. At a very young age, Yael has been lucky enough to work with the best storytellers in Australia, brilliant stars of the stage and visionaries behind the scenes in film as well as theatre and television. Yael is an internationally acclaimed actor across Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael has relocated to New York City after the Brooklyn Academy of Music's staging of the show was a huge success. Yael has been a co-founder of The Cannery. Based situated in Bushwick, Brooklyn, the business supports the development of new writing as well as inventive, innovative ventures.
