Sometimes, a glamorous career conceals many of the most tragic stories. Lolo Jones, who took home the USA and the World Championships for hurdle events in 2013, been able to achieve this level through a great deal of effort and tremendous patience. Jones had a difficult childhood due to her being the sole child of a mother with a large family. Her mother was constantly moving and lived for a time in the church basement. A life of constant movement led Jones to change schools and attend the same school each year up until her first day of high school. At Theodore Roosevelt High School Jones was separated from her mother to pursue her interests in athletics. Her family was split up throughout high school, so that she was capable of focusing on her academics. Jones also performed as a cellist for the orchestra at school. In high school, she was awarded the Gatorade Athlete of the Year Award in the Iowa Track & Field. Jones at the time she was going to university, was recognized as one of best hurdlers. She was the winner of the 100-meter hurdles at the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. Also, she was among those on the second team for the relay race of 100 meters. Jones won the NCAA Indoor Hurdles contest in 2003 as well as the 2004. Jones has been training since 2005 when she graduated from her education. Jones won two events, in the Torino Memorial and the Heusden Track events during the same season.

Brandt, who was raised within Cape Town South Africa with her siblings and parents, moved to Auckland New Zealand when she was in her late teens. Brandt, identified by local casting agencies, took the lead role of Naevia in the Starz blockbusters Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Due to her collaboration alongside Steven S. D Knight's and Sam Raimi's producers, she was an instant actor. Mazikeen was a cult comic character in Vertigo/DC as well as in the Netflix hit series Lucifer for 6 seasons. Forbes listed Lucifer as the most watched series for 2021. Brandt is next seen in a six-episode Walking Dead limited spin-off starring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Giurira, which will air in 2024. She also stars alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni and Chris Meloni as Captain Fall in an adult-oriented film that will be released on Netflix on July 20, 2023. Lesley-Ann Brandt is a South African actress born in Cape Town, South Africa on 2nd of December 1981. She is one talented New Zealander actress. Lesley Brandt moved along with her entire family in Auckland New Zealand in 1999. In Auckland, Brandt began as a salesperson and then was made an IT consultant. Lesley's professional career started with couple of model projects. Then she appeared in numerous commercials. In 2008 she graduated from her majors and studied Meisner techniques for studying. Lesley Brandt's very first noteworthy acting role was on the TV drama series Diplomatic Immunity, which aired in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt made a guest appearance on the New Zealand's television drama Shortland Street acting as second actor. The next time she appeared on the show was This Is Not My Life. It's based on the actual story of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt was cast as Naevia the hostage's young daughter and featured later as a character in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena miniature-series of the Television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand.
